Radiologic technologists are the medical personnel who perform diagnostic imaging examinations............ They are educated in anatomy, patient positioning, examination techniques, equipment protocols, radiation safety, radiation protection and basic patient care. (ASRT, 2010)
"Radiologic technologists are the 'ambassadors' to a hospital. A patient may not have every kind of test or see many nurses or doctors. They would rarely, if at all, see anyone in administration or other people behind the scenes; but in almost every case, a patient has an x-ray of some type while in the hospital. So be sure to always represent the institution to the best of your ability."
"The Yuba College R.T. Program provided me an education in Radiologic Technology that has excelled forward in a stable career with endless opportunities to advance. "
